Joe has been in the real estate and appraisal profession for over 30 years, most recently concentrating on appraisal and consulting. Prior to entering the real estate profession, Joe taught school in New York State and in the Stroudsburg School District. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Kutztown University and his Master of Education degree from East Stroudsburg University.

Joe holds the following licenses and certifications in Pennsylvania: Certified General Appraiser, Real Estate Broker and Real Estate Instructor. Joe is certified by the Appraisal Foundation and its Appraisal Qualifications Board as a Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice Instructor.

Joe is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, Pocono Mountains Board of Realtors and an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute.

He has done impact studies for the City of Scranton on the Interstate Highway System; Tobyhanna Township Sewage Treatment System; Monroe County, PA, Coolbaugh Township, Monroe County, PA on the proposed construction of a secure juvenile residential facility and Mount Joy Township, Adams County, PA, on the impact of the development of the Yingling Property.

Joe has authored or co-authored real estate agent and appraiser recertification courses for Pocono Real Estate Academy and the Professional Career Learning Academy and has taught for both education providers. He has also taught real estate courses for Pennsylvania State University and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

He brings a generation of field and teaching experience. Those who have taken courses from Joe, enjoy his enthusiasm for the profession.
